Story
Since the lockdown started and Coronavirus started spreading, I have been feeling heartbroken for people in the situation we were just 4 months ago, with Dad spending his final weeks in the Sue Ryder Duchess of Kent hospice. We were able to visit every day and spend as much time as we could with him. If that was now and we had to limit visitors or stop visiting altogether I don’t know how I would have coped. And for all the wonderful staff who took such good care of him and did all they could for him and for us, I can’t bear the thought they are worrying about where funding will come from, with a huge drop in charitable income due to lockdown. So I’m starting this fundraiser to contribute the costs I’m saving during lockdown, and I’d love you to join me if you could.
